In 1980, Autosplice added a manufacturing facility in San Diego, California and in 1990, combined all North American operations in San Diego. In 2008, Autosplice moved manufacturing to Tijuana, Mexico, and in 2009 acquired a stamping facility in Paramount, California. Today, the San Diego headquarters houses engineering, sales and marketing, and finance operations. Many of the employees in the San Diego location have been with the company since its origin in New York City.

In the past five years, the plant has grown to become the top manufacturing site in the global organization, serving the automotive, medical, transportation and consumer industries. The facility's wide range of competencies includes SMT assemblies, pin production, molding, PCB connectors, Shape Memory Actuation (SMA), connector modules and consumer products. Autosplice Mexico is located in a state-of-the-art 64,000 square foot complex in the northern state of Baja California, where its strategic location enables it to serve customers throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America.

This plant supplies stamped and plated components to direct customers and to Autosplice Mexico for insertion into connector modules and PCB assemblies.
