Autosplice's AutoPin technology is a total process solution that offers a large variaty of pin sized, types and features along with a continuous packaging format compatible with high speed automation. This flexibility along with high-speed automation provides the lowest applied cost for any interconnect pins available on the market. It allows you to design a component to your exact specifications without costly engineering charges.

Continuous Reel Packaging

Packaged end-to-end on continuous reel, AutoPin components are ready for machine assembly at various levels of automation. The same component reel supplies pins to Semi-Automatic, Stand-Alone CNC or In-Line CNC insertion systems. Additionally, the modular insertion tooling for all systems are interchangeable for future machine upgrades.

Component Features

All AutoPin products are supplied on continuous reel, notched at each end to your exact length specification. The notch creates a tapered lead-in, eliminating the potential for board demage during assembly. Additionally, pins can be supplied with a varity of features designed to maximize component to board retention for both soldered of solderless connections.

AutoTab Technology

The AutoTab system automatically inserts pre-stamped terminals directly into printed circuit boards, bobbins, housings or other substrates.
Autosplice insertion systems feed, cut and install the terminals in one simultaneous operation which typically generates no scrap.  We offer several standard platforms of assembly equipment to meet all levels of production.

Standard Products

AutoTab terminals are stamped from a continuous strip of material with the use of precision, progressive dies and then post plated to provide optimum solderability and corrosion resistance. The terminal is then reeled ready for machine insertion. Autosplice offers a family of standard parts. Products are designed for use in the automotive, electrical, telecommunications and electronics industries.
